Subjectively, I noticed that the GP500 had extremely accurate grayscale OOTB. I observed an DeltaE value of 2.3 which is lower than the amount that is visible to the human eye. This is pretty good. The Dynamic Contrast feature really added depth to the a few night scenes in Life of Pi and the colors on display were excellent as well. Avatar was also very impressive.
